Genevieve Coffey is a geologist interested in understanding earthquake mechanics, especially the relationship between fault zone structure and earthquake rupture. Her research takes a multidisciplinary approach to get at this, incorporating techniques in field geology, biomarker analysis, and K/Ar dating.
