Sarah Giles

Graduate Student

Sarah Giles is a field geologist working with Nick Christie-Blick, interested in understanding the co-evolution of climate, tectonics, the ocean, and life during the Neoproterozoic. Sarah's Ph.D. research integrates geologic mapping, sedimentology, stratigraphy, isotope geochemistry, and geochronology to evaluate the origins, timing and stratigraphic context of the mid-Ediacaran (~580 Ma) Shuram carbon isotope excursion in South Australia.
